31 Ago AMADE ACHIEVES MERIT STATUS IN NADCAP ACCREDITATION
AMADE was awarded merit as a Non-metallic testing laboratory in the latest Nadcap reaccreditation audit in March. AMADE has held the Nadcap accreditation since June 2013.
Nadcap is an industry effort to improve quality in the aerospace sector. Nadcap accreditation means complying with tight customer requirements of technical competence and quality for companies such as Airbus or Boeing. The Nadcap merit programme aims to reward superior performance in Nadcap audits.
The main expertise of AMADE is testing crack growth in composites such as the accredited GIC and GIIC as well as numerical modelling of them. There are only 9 laboratories in the world and 3 in Europe who have Nadcap accreditation for both of these tests.
