Make the most of a research stay: That is what Jordi Llobet did in the University of Aalborg (Denmark) under the supervision of Dr. Esben Lindgaard. Three months till June 1 were invested in developing a numerical application to couple the damage occurring inside the laminate plies and at the interfaces under static and fatigue loadings. The experience of the Aalborg team in the wind turbine sector, played a crucial role in the implementation of a similar model for aerospace applications.
