AMADE is a
research group and technology transfer centre made up of researchers
from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Industrial
Construction and the Department of Physics at the University of Girona.
It carries out research into design with composite materials, numerical
simulation of mechanical and structural behaviour, and conception and
design of machinery.
AMADE responds to the demand
of the industrial sector in three particular areas:
· Innovation (new
designs, new materials, new design tools),
· Product improvement
· Analysis of in-service behaviour
From AMADE we want to
support the R+D activities of companies. Market demands
and, in part, the incentives proposed by the Public Administration have
made companies develop R+D projects. Often, however, they do so without
sufficiently specialised staff and without the specific equipment
needed to do it, especially in small and medium-sized companies.
From AMADE, we can offer
agreements with companies for:
·
R+D programmes,
· technical reports,
· ongoing training
