The Congress has been conducted online on November 16-17, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The title of the presentation of Edwin Meulman is: \u201cDesign of a low friction roller wedge driven quasi-static test\u201d. A new simplified test method is presented to determine the mode I fracture toughness of bonded joints. A roller wedge is used to propagate a crack in the adhesive of the bonded joint. Since a low force is required to do so this test can be performed without a test machine.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Jordi Renart, researcher of the AMADE group, is the advisor of the doctoral thesis of Edwin Meulman, beneficiary of a IFUdG2021 grant within the Programme of grants for researchers in training of the University of Girona (2019-2021).
