Researches from AMADE (J Farjas, JA Gonz\u00e1lez, D S\u00e1nchez-Rodr\u00edguez, N Blanco, M Gascons and J Costa) have published a groundbreaking article titled \u201cAnalytical criterion to prevent thermal overshoot during dynamic curing of thick composite laminates\u201d<\/strong> in the Journal Advances in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n This paper is the result of a successful collaboration between AMADE and the company Compoxi. The paper introduces a novel analytical model designed to predict and prevent thermal overshoot, a common and undesirable effect during the manufacturing of thick laminated composites with thermosets matrices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The proposed model accounts for different boundary conditions between the mold and laminate, enabling the determination of the critical thickness beyond which thermal runaway occurs under constant heating conditions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The research opens new avenues for AMADE to further explore the optimization of composite manufacturing techniques, enhancing the sustainability and reliability of industrial processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n
