{"id":17752,"date":"2026-10-07T12:49:25","date_gmt":"2026-10-07T12:49:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amade.udg.edu\/?p=17752"},"modified":"2026-10-07T12:49:26","modified_gmt":"2026-10-07T12:49:26","slug":"a-new-frp-cohort-begins-at-the-university-of-girona","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amade.udg.edu\/index.php\/2026\/10\/07\/a-new-frp-cohort-begins-at-the-university-of-girona\/","title":{"rendered":"A New FRP++ Cohort Begins at the University of Girona"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>University of Girona (UdG)<\/strong> has welcomed the students of the new edition of the <strong>FRP++ European Master in Advanced Structural Analysis and Design using Composite Materials<\/strong>, one of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master&#8217;s programmes specialising in advanced composite materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This academic year, <strong>15 international students<\/strong> will complete the first semester of the programme at the <strong>University of Girona<\/strong>, where they have now started classes at <strong>Campus Montilivi<\/strong>. During the coming months, they will receive advanced training in composite materials, structural analysis and design while taking part in laboratory activities and working alongside researchers from <strong>AMADE (Analysis and Advanced Materials for Structural Design)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The FRP++ Master&#8217;s programme is delivered by a consortium of five leading European universities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>University of Minho<\/strong> (Portugal) \u2013 Programme Coordinator<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>University of Girona<\/strong> (Spain)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>University of Naples Federico II<\/strong> (Italy)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>INSA Toulouse<\/strong> (France)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>University of Toulouse<\/strong> (France)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the <strong>University of Girona<\/strong>, the FRP++ Master\u2019s porgramme is coordinates by <strong>Dr Cristina Barris<\/strong>, who oversees the academic development of the programme at UdG and supports students throughout their studies in Girona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through this international collaboration, the programme provides multidisciplinary education combining academic excellence, research and industrial relevance.
