Joan Ninyerola Gavaldà, PhD student of AMADE, has participated in the 11th European Solid Mechanics Conference (ESMC 2022) conducted in Galway, Ireland, on 4-8 July, 2022.

Joan Ninyerola gave the oral presentation entitled “Determination of the design allowables on the single lap joint strength of composite laminates through virtual testing”, as part of his PhD thesis advised by Dr. Albert Turon and conducted within the framework of the TREAL project. This project has received funding from the Clean Sky 2 Joint Undertaking (JU) under grant agreement No. 864723. The JU receives support from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme and the Clean Sky 2 JU members other than the Union.
