Sophomore dissertation on the generation of design allowables in composite materials using surrogate models generated by Machine Learning

The PhD student Joan Ninyerola defended his sophomore dissertation entitled «Generation of design allowables in composite materials using surrogate models generated by Machine Learning» at the Polytechnic School of the University of Girona (UdG) on June 9, 2023.

Sophomore dissertations are conducted at the end of the first year of the doctoral thesis with the aims of evaluating the research capacity of doctoral students and sharing the research carried out in AMADE – UdG with the members of the group.

This research is part of the PhD thesis of Joan Ninyerola, advised by Dr. Albert Turon and Dr. Aravind Sasikumar, researchers of AMADE – UdG. The PhD thesis is conducted within the TREAL project.
