Participation in the 6th International Conference on Smart Monitoring, Assessment and Rehabilitation of Civil Structures (SMAR 2022)

Alba Codina and Younes Jahani, PhD students of AMADE, have participated in the 6th International Conference on Smart Monitoring, Assessment and Rehabilitation of Civil Structures (SMAR 2022) conducted virtually on September 6-8, 2022, jointly organized by Tongji University, Shanghai and Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (Empa), Switzerland.

Alba Codina gave the oral presentation entitled “Experimental study and theoretical analysis on the flexural behaviour of RC beams strengthened with externally bonded reinforcement on groove (EBROG) CFRP”, as part of her PhD thesis advised by Dr. Cristina Barris and Dr. Lluís Torres. On the other hand, Younes Jahani contributed with the oral presentation entitled “Experimental fatigue behavior of NSM CFRP strengthened RC beams under high service temperature”, as part of his PhD thesis under the supervision of Dr. Marta Baena. Both works have been conducted within the framework of the EffAnCom project.
