Sophomore dissertation on optimisation of 3D printed composite structures against out-of-plane loading

The PhD student Alex Fernández defended his sophomore dissertation entitled “Optimisation of 3D printed composite structures against out-of-plane loading» on 15 December 2022.

Sophomore dissertations are conducted at the end of the first year of the doctoral thesis with the aims of evaluating the research capacity of doctoral students and sharing the research carried out in AMADE-UdG internally with the members of the group.

This research is part of the PhD thesis of Alex Fernández, advised by Dr. Norbert Blanco and Dr. Daniel Trias, both researchers of AMADE-UdG. The PhD thesis is funded by the FI 2021 grant of the “Agència de Gestió d’Ajuts Universitaris i de Recerca” of the Generalitat de Catalunya (AGAUR, Agency for Management of University and Research Grants of the Catalan Government).
