8th AMADE Day

We have celebrated the 8th AMADE Day on July 14, 2023, in the “Sala d’Actes” of the Faculty of Education and Phycology of the University of Girona. 

The AMADE Day is celebrated twice a year, in winter and summer. AMADE Days consist of mini symposia in which group members share ongoing research projects and results. AMADE Days also include the participation of external speakers from public or private institutions specialised in the study, characterisation and analysis of the mechanical behaviour of advanced materials and structures. This time, the invited speakers have been Xavier Plantà (Eurecat) and Paolo Minigher (INEGI, UdG). 

Within the 8th AMADE Day, we have celebrated the 2nd edition of the AMADE Photo Contest, sponsored by the AMTEC composites company: https://www.amtec-composites.com/. Thirty photos have been submitted to participate in the contest. The winner has been Mehdi Aghabagloo, PhD student of AMADE.

About 50 persons have participated in the Summer AMADE Day 2023.
