AMADE Day: Research in Dialogue

AMADE Day: Research in Dialogue

On 23st of January 2026 we celebrated the 13th AMADE Day at «Sala de Graus Pep Nadal» of Faculty of Tourism at the University of Girona.

The AMADE bi-annual symposium provides a space for researchers to share ongoing projects and results within the group. During this session, we had the opportunity to host Marc Delgado Aguilar from the LEPAMAP – PRODIS UdG research group, who presented Engineering of cellulose-based multiphasic systems: bridging colloidal systems, interface science and bio-composites.

Additionally, AMADE researchers shared their latest work on Modelling the Cure Kinetics of Epoxy Resins(Dr. Jordi Farjas), Investigation of the electrical resistance change of carbon fibre composites in the presence of damage(José David Acosta), From Nano-Reinforced Alloys to Cryogenic Hydrogen Tanks: My Reserarch Journey at Amade (Nikhil Bharat), A coupled mechanical-permeability approach for predicting hydrogen leakage in composite tanks(Pau Miquel Roura) and Experimental Evaluation of the Damping Coefficient in Laminated Composite Materials (Dr. Daniel Trias).

This event continues to serve as a valuable forum for knowledge exchange and collaboration among researchers.
